How do you mantain your Farenheit temperature in your humidor?

Temperature does matter, a warm humidor (>80F) can cause the cigar beetle larva to hatch.

Plume or mold on these cigars

Another vote for mold, plume will look like fine white hairs that encompass the entire cigar.

    Sweet Smoke

"Sweetened tobacco" usually is a cover up for an inferior product. I would start with mild Dominican Republic cigars and move up as your taste improves. JMHO

Unexpected drama at an online store. Opinions wanted.

I have been ordering cigars online for years from "Cigar Place", and they have never let me down. Their customer service is very good, and when I had a problem with a box, they sent me a return label, sent me a new box plus 5 extra cigars for my trouble.

    My father corona gorda

My guess would be that they are rolled by several rollers with different tobaccos and are boxed after coming down a chute, opposed to one roller with one batch of tobacco rolling the entire box.

    Soft or not firm cigars

Would that be like harvesting tobacco while singing the theme to Spongebob and making fart sounds with your hand and armpit? Why yes it would (lol).

    Soft or not firm cigars

Immaturely harvested tobacco will also do this.

Moving forward from a small mold outbreak

"plume" is usually fine white hairs that cover the entire cigar, and they are certainly not "blotches" or irregular shaped, also some "sun spots" on the wrapper can be mistaken for mold.

    Problem Seasoning Humidor

I would wipe the inside panels of the humidor with a damp rag moistened in distilled water, and repeat the process every few hours. If you are using the correct cedar, it should soak in, in a reasonable amount of time. You may consider adding a few drops of "PG" to the water (a debatable topic)...
