Anyone have ideas on if this is good or bad? My humi here in the Texas heat has been at 75 degrees with 69% humidity. I try to keep the temp at 70 but it just keeps rising. I’ve tried the ice pack trick but after removing it starts to rise again

IMHO any time you go over 70; temp or humidity, you are asking for mold. Can you put your humidor somewhere in the house that is not suceptable to the warmer temps? Basement?

Either way, I would get some colloidal silver immediately and put a dish in the humidity until you get this under control.

I can’t do either of those because the whole hours is the same temp and my humi has no space
what are you using to provide the humidity?
Can you move your storage to a closet, running a humidor in Texas is a struggle for real, unless you can afford a cooled unit.

Unfortunately I can’t as I have no space but I just moved it to the coolest space I have so hopefully that will help

Let's look at this from a different angle. If you literally have zero space to put a small dish (or shotglass) of silver, you need to get a coolidor or something larger ASAP. By having your humidor virtually tetris packed, you are not allowing RH to migrate and your cigars will suffer for it. A coolidor could also provide some level of insulation against the temperature swings.

I think I solved it at least helped it with it just being in the new spot it’s already at 72 and still dropping

Just a small acrylic one but from just moving the humidor within the hours, it’s already dropped to 72° and it still slow slowly heading down

Find the deepest/darkest place in your house and keep it there. If you're really going to do this hobby justice, plan on investing in something that you can control the temp and humidity.

I definitely plan on getting a coolador but I’m just starting out so I’m trying to manage for right now till I find a good one

Get a marine cooler because they typically do not have any odor inside them. Get the biggest one you can afford because of you love cigar smoking you will fill it up quickly.
