I'm a native Texan and have been enjoying cigars on and off for the last 15yrs. I know the brands I like but also keep an eye out for reviews that lead to something new; I usually keep a half dozen or so single sticks of something new to try. Having 17yrs experience in the restaurant business, I thoroughly enjoy pairing cigars with liquor, beer and wine, same as most foodies do with food; it opens up a WHOLE other dimension of flavor, both in the cigar and the beverage being paired.
Outside of running my restaurant you can find me at the gym or any number of off-road trails, shredding dirt and whatever else on my mountain bike (XC-style). On those rare occasions once every couple of weeks or so, I find time to meet up with friends at our local cigar bar to mix up stogies and stories over drinks.
