It all started when I was 18 years of age, Dad picked me up from my flat and took me to the cigar shop.
My first cigar was a Tatiana.... something flavored. But from that first buzz and the experience of camaraderie amongst other like minded individuals. I knew had found a life long dedication to something that brings me joy.
Since then I have purchased and then set fire to some incredible and some down right offensive Stix. I settled in for a while with Rocky Patel products and then La Flor Dominicana and after that i never got stuck on any one brand.
My palet is moderately developed along the lines of, yes I like this and can distinguish specific nuances. But seem to have a taste for Maduro cigars. I enjoy the full body smooth cool burn overtones of pepper and cocoa that I find in some.
I'm fairly educated on the subject of cigars but by no means am an expert. I enjoy learning about the hobby and experiencing new blends or growing regions of the world.
Can't wait to burn something new!
