Woke up this morning to 57 degrees and 94% humidity. Talk about confusing weather?...I didn't know whether to put on a light jacket or start sweating.
More flooding from over 6" of rain and high tide at the exact same time last night...this is getting seriously old. Power is back on but cable is still out.

The well pump just stopped working right after the water turned brown & salty. More crap in the aquifer from the flooding. The fun just keeps on coming...

Guys...what's the name of that lighter that Rod did the group buy on that has the cover attached to the little chain? Someone palmed mine after all these years...I hope it blows up on him! Bastid...

Mine crapped out. I drained it, very carefully unscrewed the fill port/valve assy, (it has a tiny metal disc in it, so make a note of its orientation while lifting the body off the assy) blew off all the parts, reassembled it, and it works like a champ again.

Mine was rock steady for 6+ years and NEVER skipped a beat. I went out to buy another yesterday and discovered how many people are complaining about the newer model of the same lighter. It seems they cheapened them up and they're now much less reliable than the older models. And a good many of the reviewers were cigar smokers that owned the older model and have gone through numerous newer models with little success...THAT SUCKS! I'm now in a holding pattern in replacing it.

I hear Diamond makes a lighter tht never fails. As long as you keep them dry,of course.
My fridge went...waiting for Sears to deliver a new one. Spent a fortune on dry ice to keep all my frozen stuff alive...

Being lower to the ground probably makes you more sensitive to these phenomena.

I always have an ear to the ground...by no choice of my own though, that's where it naturally sits.
Always great to see those Mets fans, heads hung low, heading for the exits early in Flushing. Damn, no runs in two games, can you blame them?
Happy Mother's Day to all you Muthas out there!

Heh, You know, my Big sis sent me a mother's day card acknowledging my single dadness.
Yankee reject Kyle Farnsworth ripped the heart out of the Mets again last night. They just keep sprinkling sand on that thing and continue ramming it into their fan's backside.
