One more step up the Army Ladder

Just thought I would share with all my Brothers and Sisters that according to the powers that be I am now Promotable to E-7 / SFC / Sergent First Class.

Human Resources Command published the list of the E-6 that were selected for promotion today and I was on it. I will be the 273rd E-6 to get promoted.

Pretty cool, it was my first try, and I am below primary consideration zone, so Yeah me!!!!!

Gonna burn a good tonight.....

Now you get the "fun" job of being a PSG and babysitting some dumbshit LT (like me :laugh: ) all day!

All kidding aside, it'll be a whole different world than being a squad leader, but hopefully you'll have a good platoon leader who realizes he isn't "the shit" just because he's got a shiny bar on his chest, plus some highspeed squad leaders under you, all of whom will work with you instead of against you.
