Yep, $40 a stick. They attempted to pull me the next year and again when it appeared that he needed more bucks. Once bitten, twice shy.
IMO, when he started rolling outside the Island, he used great tobacco. Then he saw bucks flying in and became the proverbial capitalist.

Yeah I took a ride on that train too. But I did a little different and got four bundles of ten in four vitolas = $1,600. Didn't happen the next year as I thought they were overrated for the $40 a stick.

Not sure excactly but I'd say about $500 on various EL's. I very rarely pay over $400 for a box though.

It's hard to say, since some of the more expensive boxes I've bought have been for group buys or splits, so I didn't actually spend all the money. The Don Carlos 30th is an expensive set, but that's being split. Same for the Opus 22's from '06 & '07 that I only got half of. I bought a couple boxes of EL's for my kids, that were well over the $300 mark.


Then there was that Behike humidor I picked up at some festible a while back... :whistling:
