I don't know about the RP and AVO, they seem a bit low to me. The WOA is also iffy unless it is a maduro. What do the rest of you think?

I'm pretty new at this so I just purchased all of them at my local B&M and paid $8 + for each, but they may be overpriced. Just let me know if need to do better.

Best way to find reasonable prices IMO is to search a couple of the bigger online sites, like CI, Famous, Holt's, etc. Too many variable go into local B&M prices.

Got it! I just checked Holts and realized I got screwed. Specially on the AVO. I'll post three better ones.
 
No problem bluestone. With stores charging more than MSRP, state and local taxes, and being new to the hobby it will happen. This is why we post the cigars we are submitting.

I have the same problem with values living here in the Republik of Kalifornia.

Yep, I know I had to learn the hard way about state taxes too. Glad you're taking it as a learning experience and not an attack.

I know these are a little low but given the circumstances and how difficult it would be to change things I am inclined to let them play. Does anyone have any objections?
 
I agree that these should play and I think Justin is right on the money as the moderator of this pool for mentioning this. It is fair for anything to be questioned that doesn't fit the specified range and I am fairly certain this is just a matter of sticks costing a dollar or two difference at one retailer vs. another. That is just how things are and I think it would be too much of a pain in the ass to be overly nitty given the nature of Tim's situation and thus the manner of his participation in the pass (having a vendor send direct). If anyone disagrees please say something, as everyone involved has an investment in the pool. I will gladly toss another stick in to offset the balance if anyone feels this is unfair.
 
Hey Guys, the places I checked put these in the correct price range. If they are not, that is cool, I can and will fix it. I should not get any special treatment, if I can join in the fun and play and have the same chance at winning like everyone else, then I can pay the entry just like everyone else. Give me until after the weekend so I can make some phone calls, and it will be done.

Sorry about the low ball sticks, I really did think that they made the cut.

As far as I'm concerned, you are fine Tim. They're only about $.50 low a piece, and I have no doubt you payed more than that for them with taxes and all. Whatever you decide to do is fine with me.

Hopefully we'll get some more opinions on the matter.
