Why on earth USC (who LOST to Oregon State) was supposed to go to the National Championship game is totally beyond me. I'm glad to see that UCLA proved my point for me, USC cannot handle a good defensive team.

Ah, the rematch...

Not likely. You already had your chance against Ohio State and you blew it. :D

Florida should go to the Fiesta Bowl. ;)

Florida has had way too many close games...they only beat TN by 1 point. Not to mention, the team they got beat by wasn't ranked #1.

How many is "way too many?" ??? A whole ONE against Tennessee? Please review Florida's scores vs their opponents and get back to us with the list of "many close" games.

Michigan still LOST to #1 so why should they play them again? That doesn't make any sense. Michigan plays SHIT teams, there's no way you can convince anyone that Michigan's schedule is tougher than Florida's. Your wins over Ball State and Penn State were oh so IMPRESSIVE.

How many ranked teams did Michigan play this year? (Two and one of them you LOST to one of them).

If Florida beats Arkansas today, they should play in the National Championship game. ;)

The big story is Wake Forest!

Who lost to Clemson and Virginia Tech.

Wake Forest can't even beat fair teams never mind good ones.

First ACC title in 36 years so that is pretty special and is almost as unusual as Rutgers being in the BCS

/sigh,

Was looking forward to a USC vs. Ohio State game. I don't care to see Michigan again and I don't care to see Florida get their asses kicked.

Oh well, that's how it goes. I guess since USC isn't worthy I'd like to see the rematch, though if Michigan can pull it off, it'll be controversy all damn winter.

CC86 I agree, if UF wins, which is looks like it's going to happen, then I think they should play Ohio St. However, I don't think they will stand a chance against the Buckeyes. With that said college football needs a fuggin playoff system!!!!

Go Dawgs...where ever they end up

Gotta love the upset!!! It has been an awesome season for upsets. You gotta give Florida the nod, Mich's only big win came over an overhyped ND. I don't think the voters will allow another Big Ten rivalry game to be played out for the MNC. This is the BCS!

On another note BTHO Cal!

Two??? Yes we lost to #1 by 3 on the road.
Beat Currently ranked #6 Wisconsin and held them to negative rushing yards.
Beat the crap out of currently ranked #12 N.D.
I think Penn State and Iowa were ranked when we played them.

Sheeesh

No, they were not......
Iowa finished at 2-6 in the conference and Penn State's highest "ranking" this year was "Also receiving votes"

When you played Wisconsin, they were not ranked. Wisconsin didn't play ANY ranked teams this year other than MIchigan. They DID NOT have to play Ohio State, they barely beat Iowa (who sucks as previously mentioned in the last paragraph) and they had to come from behind to beat Illinois who is DEAD LAST in the Big Ten and finished the year 2-10 (almost 3-9 had they held on against Wisconsin). Wisconsin has no business being ranked 6th in the nation now.

Your spin is quite interesting though but not very convincing.

In Michigan's defense if you had to ask, I would rather see another OSU vs Mich game than Florida play for the MNC. It would be the "Ultimate Chapter" in the rivalry, kinda cool to witness it in my lifetime.

Well, there's what you'd like to see and what's really fair which are two different things, aren't they? :D

So okay, if Michigan and Ohio State face each other in the Fiesta Bowl for some alledged "National Championship" and Michigan wins, they will BOTH be 12-1 AND if Florida wins their bowl game, they'll be 13-1.

NOW, who is the "National Champion?" Based on records, one would have to conclude Florida.

You watch, when the BCS "rankings" come out in a couple of days, Florida will be #2 and Michigan can go to the Rose Bowl and lose to USC.
