I finally did it. I said I wouldn't be one of those guys. Just a few smokes in a humi just to enjoy whenever the mood strikes. I should have listened to the warnings... Well here it is. My first (of probably many) coolerdors.
It's an Igloo 60qt. cube. I bought it on sale for $26.00 and Wally-World. That's my distilled water in the spray bottle on top.
I used Velcro to attach a pretty damn accurate indoor/outdoor temperature hygrometer to the lid. Very nice I think.
I used a pound of Heartfelt beads divided into 4 knee highs I bought at Wally-World. $.33 a pair, you can't beat that with a stick. (I bought them on Halloween night, so no one would think I was an idiot.) My liqour store gave me a cedar cigar box with some removable planks that I also velcored around the sides of the cooler. I bought a couple of boxes of smokes to throw in there. And I have 2 more on the way. If you FOGS see anything I am doing wrong, or need to improve on let me know. I think I did a pretty good job. It's holding a constant 67% which I'm ok with. (and the La Caoba is an empty box used for buffering, in case anybody makes jokes LOL)
As I was looking through my camera SD card, I came across this pic from halloween night. One of my favorite bartenders from a bar I go to here. Just thought I'd share. Very Nice!! I called her Nurse Cratchett all night, and she had no idea what I was talking about... Funny seeing as she said she had read the book in high school. She looks older in this pic but she's only in her mid-20's.
