ok peeps... it's that time of year. Time for the annual Puppy Pass!!!!
For those of you new to Cigar Pass, here are the previous Puppy Passes

The Pass: I got this idea from a thread some time ago, where everyone posted pictures and info on their pets. As most people know (or would assume) I'm very much into my dogs. So to keep it simple, and run with a theme, this pass is for dog owners. The 'gimmick' for this pass is not only cigars, but dog treats. Every pass participant is expected to put into the box, their dogs favorite treat. A bone, treats, cookies, whatever. The next person in the pass gets those treats for their dog, and replaces the treat with their dogs favorite. And so on down the pass. So hopefully everyone not only gets some great cigars, but their dogs get to participate and enjoy some new goodies as well.

The Rules: (my apologies to all the other passes I stole these from…)
1. When you receive the pass, please do an inventory and make sure everything is there and numbered correctly.
2. Please inspect the box and packaging materials for proper cigar packing and RH%. Either post your concern or contact me directly.
3. Do not remove the cigars from their baggies unless they are part of your approved P/T's.
4. Please post your proposed P&T's in the forum prior to the pass arriving to you as this will save time. If anyone has an issue with someone else's plays, please be polite about it and post your concerns in the forum.
5. Put & Takes's (P/T's) should be: A) value for value, B) ISOM for ISOM, C) NC for NC, D) Premium for Premium, E) 1 for 1 (no 2 for 1's), and F) Rarity for Rarity
6. NO HOST BAG, NO ADDITIONAL STICKS UNLESS THEY ARE PART OF YOUR PUTS
7. In the dog treats area, anything not professionally/commercially sealed should be double ziplocked or sealed in some form or fashion so that it DOES NOT LEAK, STAIN, SMELL-UP or otherwise endanger the cigars also in the box. Please use common sense in this area… such as liquids are a bad idea! If there is any question or concerns, contact me directly.
8. Post your dog(s) name and brief description of the included dog treat as well as your dog(s) opinion of what they got. (tail wags, barfed it up, and so on)
9. Please notify next person in line via a post in this thread prior to shipping to confirm they are ready.
10. Ship package via USPS and post the DC# in the forum.

and don't forget to give your dog(s) a scratch for ME! And most of all, Have fun!

I'm going to limit this to 10 people, with a couple locals for personal handoffs. If a couple of people local to one another want to join up I'll add a slot for them to make a local, personal hand off. I am going to TRY and get this home by the end of November so I can once again mail off the box as it arrives to me back home to my adopted unit in Iraq. HOPEFULLY they will get it in time for Christmas - if not, well, it'll be a New Years gift then. Again, once I get this pass back, I will redirect it to Iraq and not be keeping it.

TO BE CONSIDERED for this pass you must 1) be local and agree to meet up in person, or 2) have been in any puppy pass previously, or 3) have been a member of CP for a minimum of 6 months in good standing, or 4) been a member of CP for 3 months and have done a few trades/buys (like Newbie Sampler Trade) where established members can vouch for you (list them and I will be checking), and most importantly...

5) you MUST have a dog!!

Woo Hoo, it's that time of the year again! Monty, Ruby and I had fun last year. Sadly, Monty is not here to participate again.
However, Ruby, my Golden Retriever, has agreed to show the new Great Dane Beowulf how to play this game.

Pretty much all the dogs in the house get to participate, me included.

If you'll consider me, I'd like to be in this pass. I generally don't get involved in passes a whole lot and because of that I have only been in one. I love my doggies and I think this is really one that I can put my time and thought into. Also, the fact that it's only about 10 people is a good experience and without having to juggle 20 other folks in a pass.


I am local to Stinki Monki, and I own two dogs:


L to R: "Misty" (1 yr. old Springer Spaniel/Border Collie), and "Rex" (2 yrs. old Terrier/Pomeranian)


Additionally, I've got 7 months on CP, have done a Newbie Trade with Cohibasurfer, have bought a sold from a couple trusted BOTLs on CP, and hopefully I'm in decent standing on here. Whether my perception is a reality remains to be seen!! :laugh:


Regardless if I get in or not (please please please!!!!), I know my wife and I will be watching it from the sidelines!!

I'd like to participate if you'll have me and it isn't already full (it looks like we've got more than 10 signed up, but a few locations look like they could be very close to one another). I've done the NST with Seadub, participated in the Hot Potato Bomb #2, what basically came down to a blind 10er with Ironpeddler in the MAW/PIF thread, and I'm currently involved in Jonesy's Getting Your Feet Wet pass.

I have yet to pass up the opportunity to talk about our two retired greyhounds so I may have already posted these pictures, but here are a few good ones.
