#45 had me stumped for a while as well - Nevada.
#18 is Eastern Michigan.
 
I got 39 with no cheating. Only thing I did was look at a list of states to jog my memory.

#5 - Memphis
#7 - Bowling Green - new (and ugly) helmets, I missed this one too
#18 - Eastern Michigan
#29 - Akron - that's other one I had to search for
#45 - Nevada
#48 - Syracuse - another relatively new helmet, I think they switch to this one in 2006
 
I acually did fairly well. I don't know #29 and got #12 mixed up with #33. I took a guess at #18 and got it right.
 
44--missed 4, 7, 17, 29, 40, and 45.

Little help on 4, 17 and 40?

I found a couple of similar fun games a couple of weeks ago. I'll start a different thread since the people who have already done this one might not bother rereading it...

Should have got #4 just because it's a well-known school, and #40 since I'm pretty sure that Illinois played them within the last couple of seasons.
