Thanks to the generosity of bfreebern, I got to enjoy this cigar! It was a double toro - big sucker. Prelight draw was great for such a large stick. Light and burn were also good. Till now, the LFD Double Ligero was the strongest cigar I'd ever had. This baby curled my toenails! I had two bottles of Propel with this one. Nevertheless, I nubbed in and enjoyed it immensely. It's on my box list. Thanks, Brandon!
 
I concur Bruce.. These boys pack a punch, but it wasn't a TKO, I made it till the final round... nubbed this one too.
 
I was wondering how those were. Sounds like its right up my alley. Gonna have to get one now and try it dammit. :thumbs:

I've got one sitting for a month now that I might have to torch this weekend when I can sit and enjoy it, make sure I prepare for this sucker if it's really that powerful! Thanks for the heads-up.
 
I picked up five of these a while back thinking they would be a lighter version of some of the LFD products. I was wrong! I didn't find them to be asskickers, but the flavor is intense in a very enjoyable way. I believe the last one I had was while grilling about seven pounds of homemade spicey hot wings and it was the perfect accompaniment along with a few IPA's.
 
In this years top 25 they compare it to a Cuban Partagas Lousitania. I am just curious if you guys feel the same way. Are they really that good? Cause if thats the case i want some...Thanks guys
 
There'll be no boxes in the near future, not if I want to stay married. However, several of my local sources carry them. I've had four now, to date. Still high on my box list.
 
I smoked one of the DC size and wasn't really that impressed. Too much spice to the one I had and little else. I would take a DL Lancero any day over these.
 
I have a few, but I have to wait for warmer weather to smoke them, they look like a serious time commitment, and "you know who" won't let me smoke inside :whistling: .

I'm a huge La Flor fan but I found these quite disappointing. I can't put my finger on it but when I smoke one, it just doesn't give me a wow factor. I think once I finish smoking the few sticks that I have remaining, I probably won't purchase anymore.
 
I got one of these the other day in the same size from cincycigarman in the PIF and found it very enjoyable. It was not great at the start but got better all the way to the end.
 
I've had one sitting for around a month, now i just have to find the right time and place... and something big enough to cut the sucker :laugh:
