I smoked one of these tonight and WOW, what a great cigar.
Okay, first some background, these are a machine made Havana that come in an aluminum tube that only cost $2.25/stick.
According to MRN, this "not very well known brand" run toward the mild side and "The taste is 'old school' Cuban." & "Oily and burns very well."
Since I smoke too darn many cigars (two to three a day :0 ) and I LOVE the taste of Cuban tobacco, a wise decision for me would be to explore the less expensive machine mades. As most of you know, I rave about Quinteros. I love them because they are less than $2.00/stick and are a very STRONG cigar. But like anything, ya need variety so when Ricardo decided to start a MMBC, I said "count me in  "
I have never had a Troya before and since MRN sez they are "mild" I would probably have never tried one. Fortunately, these Troyas were this month's selection in the MMBC
These are FANTASTIC!!!!
As with most machine mades, these cigars won't win a beauty contest but the construction is excellent. Another good thing about machine mades is CONSISTENCY
The burn and draw of this cigar was darn near perfect and as MRN mentioned, they are OILY and can be made to last for a long time if you want to smoke them slowly.
This cigar was mild BUT had a very nice, "sweet" tasting wrapper.
I highly recommend these cigars.
