Hey all..

I absolutely love a Serie D #4 and I was looking to buy a box of Serie P # 2.

I'm hoping that I can get opinions on it. Is it similar to the Serie D?
Is it strong? Weak? Spicy? etc..

Appreciate it...

I realize this is probably opening up a big can of worms, lots of flaming, pictures etc. Whatever. I also read the thread with that moron a few weeks ago. Still, I don't get why these questions are always answered with "search", sometimes in a really jerky way. At least you were good enough to post the link. People who know a lot less about this hobby than the vets here are asking for an opinion. Did everyone with an opinion about this stick post in that link, did you? The last post was in Dec., anyone have an opinion since then? If you don't want to help fine, but why post this? I know there is always the "every board has a search button", I belong to a lot of different forums and I'll tell you, the "try the search" isn't thrown out every time a newbie asks a question. This board doens't have a high volume of new posts each day, why not let people answer if they want, and you can ignore the question if you don't have an opinion?

Those who wanted too, Yes ...and yes, on another thread. The last post was in Dec., anyone have an opinion since then? Yes, on another thread. If you don't want to help fine, but why post this? As an example. I know there is always the "every board has a search button", I belong to a lot of different forums and I'll tell you, the "try the search" isn't thrown out every time a newbie asks a question. If the questions been asked and answered...why ask again.

If you used the 'search' feature -with and with out user info- ...you'd know these answers.
By the way...you won't know if I'm a liar or not...unless you use the 'search' feature....

Anything else?

Do we grade newbies on a curve?

Hey now...I might be rough sometimes, but it's very rarely over placing a first post in a wrong area or asking a repetitve question. Not that there is anything wrong with a friendly reminder to use the search function, etc. I stand up against the rising of the ugly head of assholitry, or uppity noobness where it is less than respectful of this, my e-home.
Of course we should be respectful of noobs, we should be respeful to ALL. BUT, someone , especially if they mention that they are familiar with the way internet forums work, shoudl TRY to search first. Should they not? Isn't this suggested in many communities? If someone wants to become a member here, being reminded to do a search before asking a question that most likely has been asked before shouldn't put them off.

Edit: They are GREAT CIGARS. Buy them (if they are legal where you live) if you like GREAT CIGARS.

I like them as well but the psp 2 has a special place in my heart.

Thanks to those that gave me an answer, sorry to those that got annoyed at me for asking about an already discussed topic.

I do have something to add though. Whilst I understand your points about searching before posting, I also disagree with it to an extent. It sounds like a lot of you don't ever want a particular topic to be discussed more than once and I think that is not such a good idea for a couple of reasons:

1 - You're going to run out of topics eventually and the forum will slow down and become 'boring'
2 - You have new members all the time that have new opinions. Isn't this forum all about hearing peoples' different opinions??

Why don't you just drop it because it does not matter... No sense in getting into an argument is there? Just my .02

1) I try to Add to and 'top' the topics that have been discussed - this prevents multiple thread with the same and different data to have to be read through. Keep it simple.

2) See above. adendum - there's also a cigar review thread...I've write a review and shared it...and got feedback.

That's just my opinion.

I never could understand what's wrong with starting a new thread once in a while. Sometimes they bring things to mind that might otherwise have been buried in a long thread.

Short attention span, eh!
