Did this Newb get punk'd?

USPS has been shitty about updating or even recognizing the Click and Ship packages. I sent out the Newbie Pass on Saturday and it never even showed up in the system, was having random stroke episodes thinking it was lost, until bigmanfromou confirmed receiving it.

It seems like the DC's generated in Click-n-Ship are slower to show up in the tracking page. The DC's obtained at the PO are instantly shown as "accepted" until they move to a new location.

The difference being, Gahau, that I sincerely apologized to you for unknowingly sending a cigar with mold on it. I also told you I would send you something when I was more able. Its not about the cigars, but the integrity and community upholding.

Gahau, are you spltting hairs over a moldy stick that was in a bomb, or a sale, or a trade? You seem a bit fixated on this ordeal concerning said moldy cigar. Is there something that needs to be fixed?

it was a cigar with mold under the band from a PIF. I told him I'd make it up but didn't know when or with what. Gahau, I wish you would have come to me first with the concern.

But i would point this out tho...
It was moldy stick with more molds under the band not a cigar with mold under the band , and it was from a blind review.
The reason I did not come to you is because there is nothing to fix, and its fine that you make it up to me or not, i am not gonna start a thing over a single gurkha. but from what I have read from previous post is that gurhka came from another member that PIF to b.dawson... so since its old I can understand that it have some mold... its ok

Was I punk'd? sure I got a crappy smoke, was that ben's fault? nah... he probably did not look inside the tube upon sending the cigar, was it the guys' that send him the stick originally fault? nah again probably overlooked.
Again I am not asking for a replacement... I don't even smoke gurkha's (except the archive's)

Then why bring it up? The only reason to keep mentioning it is to either 1. bring it to the communities attention or 2. trash b.dawson's reputation over it. Either work it out with him(which seems to have happened already) or, if that doesn't work, seek help from the community.

How did you get punked? Do you even know what that means? There was no malicious intent, nor any attempted joke. The guy sent you a cigar in a tube, it had mold, it happens, he seems to have offered to make it up to you, why keep bringing it up?
