You Learn Something New Every Day Pass

Wow I really have no idea what to say about that! Devin those puts are unreal, you should probably take another cigar or ten to make things more balanced. Thank you for playing and for your incredible generosity, I am floored. I am also really looking forward to your lesson whenever you get back around a computer!

OK I have come to a decision, despite the competition being tough.. For the overall awesome entry I have to go with T36 because at least 3 of his entries were truly fantastic choices (The video, Craigslist and icanhascheezburger). For the offensive/funny prize I wasn't remotely offended by anything linked so I went with most humorously entertaining. That would be Robbie with the Dino porn because it is epic. Congrats guys, pm me your addys.

Thanks Phil! Great thing to come back from vacation to this. PM on its way!

my pm is sent

for all you others, dont come to me for your dinosaur midget gimp porn... it's mine

Being today is a Federal Holiday I doubt this will be in my mail, but I'll see how many Dutch Masters Cuban style cigars I have to cover some of the cigars brother Devin put in.

I'm not getting in till late tonight, but as soon as I do I will post if the box made it today.

Inventoried contents and checks correct. There was an error on the put and take sheet enclosed. Grateful1 took 76 not 47 as in the list. So 47 although crossed out on the list is still in play.

Here are my proposed P/T

Takes:

No. 6 Fuente Hemmingway Classic SG
No. 80 Fuente Signature Maduro

Puts:

No. 90 HDM Piramide EL 2003
No. 91 BBF SLB OSU Jul 2000
No. 92 AF CFCF Fuente Fuente Opus X Churchill
No. 93 AF CFCF Ashton VSG Illusion Churchill
No. 94 AF CFCF Diamond Crown Maximus Churchill #2

Phil if this meets with your approval I'll get this out this morning. I'm sure brother Wilkey is ready to receive this. Thanks for letting me be in your pass.

Oh, by the way the thing I learn all the time is that the generosity from the people that make this community is incredible!

Wow those puts are over the top too Anthony! Please grab another stick or three if you see something that catches your eye lol. Either way, thank you for playing!

One of the best things I've learned this year were actually 2 things about my sand game.
I play regularly (weekends) with a couple friends (a 1 and 7 HDCP).

It was a 50-50 shot(more like 70-30)...that I'd hit a green side sand shot 'fat'(the 70)...the 30 would be me flying it over the hole and off the green.
Well, the 1 hdcp says to me ...hold the club closer to the sand..just above it - not the 2-3 inches above the sand, that I'd been doing.
What has happend is night and day...I didn't change my stance or target...just the club position.
I've hit more close sand shots in the past 6 weeks than I've ever had before...AND...I've put this thought into my chipping and that's improved.

The second thing about bunkers - is the long bunker shots. I was pretty good..but the ball wouldn't stay on line as well as it could...so, the 7hdcp says he learned something and passes on this tip(from the golf channel): take my stance(don't dig in) then move to the target about an inch(then dig in). Well, more solid contact and the ball flight and target line are perfect.

I've learned, once again, that golf is a game of inches or less.

Here, here.

Well done Anthony.

Got the USPS issue resolved. Wilkey here it goes DC# 01038555749202670527.

Thanks again Phil

The package touched down today. I have spoken with BobbyRitz and we're going to meet this Saturday to handle the P&Ts. Prior to that, we should have our proposals up for review.

I'll check and inventory tonight.

Wilkey

T: #30 H.U. Connosseur No.1 2005, P: #96 Ramon Allones Specially Selected 2006

T: #67 Cabaiguan El Guapo, P: #98 Diamond Crown Maximus No.4

Two more P's to come by morning.

Wilkey

Great plays Wilkey, I will wait till you and Rob have your final choices made to update the list. Also since the box is full why don't you and Rob take another smoke each to smoke for your get together tomorrow?

Phil,

I met with Rob this morning and we did not have time to smoke. We did, however, look at the packing situation and came up with a few options. The cigars are in good shape and snug, but capacity is at 99-100%. I have also added the following:

1. Poker stick

P #99 San Cristobal Supremo
P #100 Bolivar Gold Medal, 2007 TEB JUL07

Thank you for the invitation to play and for allowing Rob and me to handle the transaction in one pop. Rob has the cigars and will post his P/T's this weekend.

Wilkey

Thanks for playing Wilkey, it was a pleasure to have you and I am looking forward to your lesson as a scholar.

As Wilkey mentioned, I am in possession of the box. Phil, PM coming regarding the snug package.

I'll post my P's and T's tonight.

Rob

I am definitely open to suggestions. I have my own plan but I can't really implement it yet...
