200th post and Happy 4th of July Contest...

As I just hit my 200th post, I want to say thank you to everyone on this this forum for the knowledge and comeraderie, so I decided to hold a contest in appreciation of all the BOTL's and SOTL's here.

A nice 5pack of smokes to the winner, and if there is no winner by Monday at 5pm, then the 5pack will go the Troops in Iraq.

Guess as many times as you like, from now until there is a winner or until Monday at 5pm eastern.

Two parts:

1. What was my previous signature quote on this board.
2. Who is it a quote from?

Obviously this will either require a really good memory, or a good grasp of search engine use. ;) Good luck.
 
Most (like 99.9 %) people can't tell you what my sig tag line is and I've posted 12,000 times. ;)
 
I was able to find my old signature using google, now the cached page is no longer there.

Damn, I had been scouring the internet for about 40 minutes and in between that time, you mentioned that it's canceled. I was going way back into internet archives, but they all started before you joined and hadn't caught up to your introduction post yet. I then was going really deep into Google but they wouldn't display signatures in their cached pages....only the post content. Oh well, it was fun to try and track it down. Happy 4th!
