I smoked cigars my first cigar about 30 years ago. Really got into this obsession, uh I mean hobby, about 10 years ago. Reading and responding to another post got me thinking. I can’t believe the basic questions I still don’t have answers too.

Do you wipe down a new humidor or not?

Humidity. Do you adjust for temperature? What’s best for short and long term storage?

Any disadvantage of aging cigars in dress boxes? Adsorption of oils?

Who actually sells real Cuban cigars? Singles at LCDH’s have even been question.

How did they give cigar xxxx a rating of xx? Are they crazy? Advertisers influence?

Influence of cello on storage?

Marrying of flavors on storage?

Why do many posters choose to post just to cause trouble?

Why do many other posters accept the bait?

Why do I read these posts?

Does anyone make a non-cuban that actually taste like a cuban?

Why do some cigars expand and crack? Construction? Too dry? Too moist?

Why are there still people who don’t know that glass top Cohibas are fake?

What will happen once the embargo is lifted? Names? Quality? Prices? Availability?

What is the purpose of this post?

Mind you, I’m not looking for answers since I’ve seen many discussions on these topics. I think I just forget about these questions and enjoy a smoke. Good cigars to you!

You can. I would recommend against it, as the wood inside could warp

most peole like 65% rh

nothing wrong I can think of, maybe someone more experianced than me can answer it.

You mus not have read the part about discussion of sources....it is a no-no

How did they give cigar xxxx a rating of xx? Are they crazy? Advertisers influence?
Um....CA does what it wants, but personal tastes trump all outside opinions

Influence of cello on storage?
There are numerous topics on this, I sugges you use search

Marrying of flavors on storage?
Same thing, use the search tool and you will get an answer

Why do many posters choose to post just to cause trouble?
they don't pos to cause trouble, they post to stop what hey feel is stupidity

Why do many other posters accept the bait?
people are stupid :whistling:

Why do I read these posts?
because you are supid??? :sign:

Does anyone make a non-cuban that actually taste like a cuban?
Tatuaje Cojonu 2003 comes VERY close

Why do some cigars expand and crack? Construction? Too dry? Too moist?
Construction, Humitity in he environment, too moist, too ry. It has happened with all of the above to me

Why are there still people who don’t know that glass top Cohibas are fake?
I already told you...people are stupid...geeze :D

What will happen once the embargo is lifted? Names? Quality? Prices? Availability?
I believe the Habanos names will have the rights to the name, and the "domestic" names will have to crate labels like on the Dominican Cohibas, Sating that they are not related to the cuban company.
Who know what will happen to quality, but I woul guess that it will go down
Prices will shoot thtough the roof as even non smokers will want to try a cuban
availabilty will go down because roughly the same amount of cigars for the world population will now need to supply the entire US as well as the world market.

What is the purpose of this post?
I dunno...It feels like a myspace survey though :sign:

Thanks for the fun m8! Have a great day

Warning: all of my answers were IMO, not to be taken as fact

Great questions!! I ponder them as I smoke my cigars but don't worry too much about the answers. :)

I thought this was going to be a discussion of Freudian Psychology. Go figure.
