Responsibility of the FOG's.

I think we should vote for CP official FOGs, this way the people with the most respect can lead.

Given a few of the threads over the past couple weeks, I thought this should be topped. Notice paragraph four.

Patrick

That is Harris' opinion but not mine or others LC. Harris has been a member of other boards many of which I'm not aware of but he's relatively new here.

Are you referring to "The Master" when you mention Harris? He joined this site only 5 months after you did.

Yes I'm referring to him. He only became fairly active here within the last year. Go back and look at how many posts he made here in 2003 and 2004, okay?

I nominate LCSmoker - he's doing a great job of keeping an eye on things!! :sign:

My vote would have to go to Wilkey ... Anyone that would openly admit to smoking and liking a Moontrace is top notch in the honesty and integraty department!

:p :p :p

Kidding Wilkey, you know I love you.

I'm still wondering whether or not Zeebra has finished his research project yet. ;)

??? Am I forgetting something?

Don't play dumb, it's not very becoming. I posted this:

Now maybe I'm interpreting it wrong but it sure sounds to me like you think that Harris has been contributing here for as long as I have. I also stated that Harris has only become active here within the last year.
Would you like to still continue to question my statements? This is why I asked you if you've completed researching his post history. ;)
A response would be appreciated.

I wasn't sure if Harris was "The Master" and I had to ask because I THOUGHT The Master was a long-time member on this board. I didn't realize you meant he was relatively new in terms of posting messages on the board. You are correct and I understand your original statement now.

Edited for spelling mistake.

Man,

I'm getting great mileage out of this quote. Thanks, Brandon! :D

Heck, I even smoked a Drew Estates Natural Root...but I'd never admit that. :p Oh wait, I guess I just did. :whistling:

Mentors are almost always by a volunteer basis. While mentoring can be very valuable to a group, it's value or place here needs to be examined. Normally mentoring works best when kept to a fairly narow scope. When given too much room to operate, mentoring could be a counter productive chat/bitch session.
Also, you must be careful as to mentors using their position to carry out their own agenda. There are plenty of people that do step up in the mentor position from time to time. Usually in a very specific category.
And how the hell do you vote for someone to be a FOG? You either are or you aren't.
