I have always wondered why Hollywood ever made the Forrest Gump movie? Is the character Forrest Gump supposed to be a portrayal of a fictional character or of the life of a real person that once walked this earth?
Does anybody in here know?
 
It was a character much like yourself. Except he did what he was told. :laugh:
 
Forest Gump is the story of the how America lost its innocence during the sixties and a parody of the American dream.

And a damn good movie to boot.

"We was always taking long walks, and we was always looking for a guy named "Charlie".
