The January Pass

Smoked one BTL-- just could not keep it around long.

For what it's worth...

Basically, a tobacco leaf has two sides of usable tobacco for a wrapper, with the stem in the middle dividing it. Which way the spiral is wrapped depends on which side of the leaf the wrapper is from, which way the roller feels like wrapping it, and so on and so forth.

As for the blonde vs. maduro caps, I've seen absolutely no difference in terms of the rarity of either; I think it's just how long the maduro strip is they are laying on the cigar, and how short they cut it.

The last box of BTLs I had contained a pretty even range of maduro cap vs. blonde cap, and clockwise wrap vs. counter-clockwise wrap. It's nice to collect all 4 variants (or all 8 variants, if you consider the older, larger BTLs) but I don't think there is any rarity difference.

All I wanted was the PAN'26 :p . It's all good though. Everybody have a great weekend. And, with the approval of you all this pass will leave today. I'll drop by the post office after work.

Now that it's close to time, I'll go ahead and post this. The pass order has bigmac between myself and KayakinBoy. I told sir-smokes-a-lot that KB and I live very close, close enough to hand off passes to each other instead of mailing them. SSAL told me to hand the pass to KB, and have him then mail it to bigmac. Bigmac will then skip KB and mail it to Big100HD. We had this discussion several weeks ago, but decided to wait until closer to time to post it so people didn't forget. So I thought I'd go ahead and make it known.

SSAL, I'm not trying to step on your toes here, so if you've changed your mind about this, feel free to put me in my place. :p
 
I don't see any problem in that,
if anything, it cuts down on shipment time.
Even better, see if you two can chill, smoke a cigar or two and do Ps/Ts at the same time.
