Here is the scenario:

8 players will put up 2 upper end cigars ( PAN, PAM, Opus, Anejo, Ashton, AF Hemmy, DC, AF Don Carlos ect.... everyone will be required to post there ante after they are placed as an official player ) We will draw teams at random. If your team wins it all, the losers send you the sticks. This will have to be done by tomorrow Oct. 5th, as the games start then.

It's not necessary that we have the teams before they start ... just the players and the ball rolling. I would like to have the players with assigned teams by tomorrow evening though.

What I have in mind is assigning teams a number and emailing the assigned list to a non partison ( so you know I didn't hand pick my team ;) ). The players pick a number not knowing what team it represents, and that will be their team. I will take the last number.

So is it pre-determined as to what team matches what number? Or will it be randomly generated once the 8 are in?

Why not, give me a chance to root for someone along with my MN Twins. Extra bonus woud be if I got the Twins and they beat the Braves again. ;)

We will go in order of sign up to pick the numbers. Pick a number between 1 -8. When a number is picked it is no longer available. The next person will choose from the remaining numbers. Get it? I have sent the number representations to a very distiquished ;) member of our beloved board. So we start with Dixie and go in order until the remaining number is left which belongs to me. Choose any of the available numbers.
