ggiese told me he smoked one today at his shop in the Chicago area.
Hopefully he'll post about his experience with it.

This is an interesting cigar. First of all - the display is an absolute stitch. The cigars are packed in a beautiful box, with leather interior. The box when closed resembles the trunk of a car (as though the cigars were packed in a trunk). A really nice red and black ribbon surrounds the cigars. The presentation was incredible.
I smoked the "Associate" today (the Robusto size). The construction on it was a little bit rough, but all in all - not badly made. Pre-light draw was just as I like it - not too tight, not too loose. The cigar had a nice sweetness to the tobacco.
I used a punch on my cigar. It was a bit of a problem as I smoked it as the cap started to move around. The first few draws were pretty spicy - like a Nigaraguan type tobacco. I was pretty excited thinking it was going to be a fairly strong cigar. The cigar did, though, after a few draws mellow into a nice smoke. Plenty of smoke with each draw. But, the flavor was not as pronounced as I expected it to be. It definitely is a different cigar than all of the other CAO line, with it's own unique flavor profile. Pleasant, but not powerful. Definitely less powerful than the Brazilia line, and maybe about the same as the Italia line.
I tried to pick out the flavors, but had some difficulty. It was earthy to me, with a bit of raisin type sweetness to it (somewhat like the Joya Antano line - but less powerful). The flavors were pretty muted, but pleasant. I was not able to smoke it all the way down to the nub because of time constraints. But, the best part of the cigar was after I was done. I tasted the cigar for a while after I was done, and it was pleasant.
The drawback on these babies are that they are expensive. To be honest, I've enjoyed the RP Edges for 1/3 to 1/4 of the price. The Associate set me back 10.50. It was the least expensive of the line. The "Soldier" (pyramid) and "Boss" (Churchill) are around $12-14 each.
All in all, on a scale of 1-10, I'd give these about an 8.5. I wouldn't refuse one of these if I was offered another...
