Hoping someone can help with a question I have regarding the Pous X Supper Bellies. I have a few in my humidor only going on 3 months now. I smoked 1 when I first acquired them and was disappointed--poor construction with ash flares the whole way down, a long runner, and repeated relightings required, flat taste that lacked copmlexity. I smoked another only yesterday now with 3 months on it and it was marginally better. Certainly a bit more moist which led to a better smoke construction-wise and slightly better more complex taste. Yet it was still disappointing. So the question: will these get better with more time on them or are these a victim of the marketing hype and not really what they are cracked up to be? Any thoughts?
