Ladies and Gentlemen, this pass is the first of a series of passes hosted by myself and EricDriscoll (recent CP member, long time CF member). This pass pays tribute to all things Star Wars. This initial pass is by invite only with the exception of 4 spots that will need to be earned with your in depth knowledge of the Star Wars series. This pass is intended for true star wars fans. If you are not a fan of the series and just looking to get in a pass you are in the wrong place.

There are 15 spots in this pass. This is to keep this relatively quick and seamless. Each member is expected to trade between 2 to 4 sticks. quantity for quantity, rarity for rarity and of course matches the price. More official rules will follow.

So here is the final order. The contents of this pass will also include (in the supply box) an envelope with a $ sign on it. I would ask each person to be kind enough to donate $1 to the envelope to help absorb the cost of shipping this box (approx 15 lbs) across the country. This money is to be used between the last few spots as needed.

Standard Box pass rules apply.

Please limit your TAKES to a maximum of 3 or 4…just be sure that the value of the stick replacement is equal or greater as this is about Quality NOT Quantity.

This is more Quality and Rarity matching then anything else.

CC for NC and NC for CC is OK... I know it may be frowned upon, but we will make it work !!

Bully1875 &/or EricDriscoll will have to approve all P/T's prior to passing the box

Please do not take more than one stick in a group of multiples, let everyone try something.

Please list all your put's and Takes on the sheet enclosed.

Please review the Sheet and cigars when you get the box, any discrepancies notify us immediately.

Enclosed is also a grab bag that I and EricDriscoll so kindly put together for your guys. Each person's cd's are marked and there are also a bag of Free sticks, if you would like a couple, go ahead and take em. These are cigars for the taking; no return cigars are necessary but are appreciated for the next person on deck. THIS IS NOT A HOST BAG

When sending the pass out, please PM Bully1875, the next recipient and post in the thread to make sure he's ready, and WAIT until you get a reply before sending it out. If there is any issue getting in touch with anyone, please contact me immediately at my contact information below.

I am enclosing baggies, a marker, a pen, DC slips and labels for your convenience.

FedEx, UPS, or Priority Mail only please. If you use USPS Priority Mail, use Delivery Confirmation, post the # to the recipient and in the thread, and save your receipt.

Prior to receiving the box please have an idea of your P/T's so we can make a speedy turnaround. Please post all of your requested P/T's in the thread for approval. Be prompt. Quick turnaround is key as everyone is anxiously waiting to receive the box. Once you receive the box, make the exchange, check the RH levels and make sure the sticks are in tack. You do not want to be blamed for poor shipping and having a broken stick on your hands, post on CP and mail it off ASAP. It's more fun to have the box make its rounds through the pass quickly.

List your TAKES and PUTS on the enclosed sheet

Be courteous to others in the pass. If it seems the cigar box requires any work, such as increasing humidity or repackaging/replacing the box, please do so.

If you are planning on not being around when the box is to arrive at your home/office, PLEASE alert everyone in the pass letting them know so they may re-route the pass. Be courteous, people don't like to have Cigar Passes held up.

The contents of the box are as followed:

1x Seasoned Humidor with the pass sticks.

1x "Empty Coffin" box – this is where the empty coffins that are in the pass go for storage. DO NOT FORGET TO PUT OR TAKE YOUR COFFIN IF THE STICK IS IN THE PASS.

1x Gift Box – This is for you guys!! EricDriscoll and I spent hours on burning these for your guys and including some smokes that are P/T free. If you feel like trying a smoke in the bag then go for it, no need to put anything back in return, but it's appreciated if you do for the next person. These sticks do NOT go on your P/T sheet.

1x Folder - Hard Copy of these rules, P/T sheet, address information for the next participant.

1x Supply Box – This box contains the KEY to the humidor, that's right it is locked. Please lock it up when you're done also; this prevents any accidents with the humi opening up and the sticks spilling out. Also inside the supply box is a marker, single baggies, DC slips, address labels and an envelope for a donation of at least $1 to the last person on the West coast to absorb the shipping cost back to me.

The box is sealed up pretty well and is pretty tight, if you feel that it can be better, please do so. Packing and shipping safety is crucial to the sticks. Again, please contact me with any questions whatsoever.

For one contest, I suggest having potential pass entrants enter the Kessel Run. The first one to make it in less than twelve parsecs gets in.

 
OK, no more waiting.... Contest # 1 will start in about 5 mins. There is 1 guess per person per day and the first person to get it is in !!

Oh but of course... The Kessel Run was an 18-parsec route used by smugglers to move glitterstim spice from Kessel to an area south of the Si'Klaata Cluster without getting caught by the Imperial ships that were guarding the movement of spice from Kessel's mines. Worlds along the Kessel Run included Fwillsving, Randa, Rion, and possibly Zerm.

It took travelers in real space around The Maw leading them to an uninhabitable—but far easier to navigate—area of space called The Pit, which was an asteroid cluster encased in a nebula arm making sensors as well as pilots go virtually blind. Thus there was a high chance that pilots, weary from the long flight through real space, would crash into an asteroid.

Han Solo claimed that his Millennium Falcon "made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs". A parsec is a unit of distance, not time. Solo was not referring directly to his ship's speed when he made this claim. Instead, he was referring to the shorter route he was able to travel by skirting the nearby Maw black hole cluster, thus making the run in under the standard distance, he may have indirectly referred to the speed of his ship here because to be able to go closer to black hole and still be able to get out of its gravitational pull you will need to be able to go faster. However, parsec relates to time in that a shorter distance equals a shorter time at the same speed. By moving closer to the black holes, Solo managed to cut the distance down to about 11.5 parsecs. The smuggler, BoShek, actually beat Solo's record in his ship, Infinity, but without cargo to weigh him down.

A few months later, Han Solo beat both his own and BoShek's records in a run he made with Luke Skywalker.
